The authentic Mission look of the quarter sawn white oak is perhaps at its most dramatic on top of this family-sized rectangular dining table. The exquisite form of the legs and feet is directly inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and his protegees. Discreetly placed covers conceal the gap created by the leaves, giving a neat finished look to the tapered apron. The drawers are solid cedar wood construction on 3 sides and bottom with a hardwood backside and are English dovetailed front and back for long term durability. Full extension glides are used to assure easy opening and closing and full access to the drawers. All pieces are hand sanded with 220-grit sandpaper on all areas of the case pieces and beds. All items have 4 coats of lacquer for a smooth as glass finish. All back panels are inset to assure greater strength and stability. The dining table is constructed from solid quartersawn oak. The occasional tables are solid quartersawn oak with solid dovetailed hardwood drawers. All pieces are packed to exceed expectations. Foam wrapping and Styrofoam block corners in addition to a 4” barrier of foam in front of the drawers and a ¾” wood platform protect each piece.
