The focal point of any dining room, from the dramatically grained solid cherry top to the softly scalloped apron and curved tapering legs, this majestically sized dining table with two 18" leaves extends out to 102" to comfortably seat eight guests. All pieces are constructed from selected American black cherry wood solids and veneers. The veneers are constructed with a solid pine core. Tradewins dries the wood in our factory in order to assure low moisture content to prevent warping, twisting, and cracking. All case pieces are finish sanded with 220-grit sandpaper BEFORE lacquering and between each coat and then hand rubbed to assure a smooth and durable finish. All drawer sides, bottoms, and backs are constructed from solid American cedar. The drawers are a 4 piece construction with the cedar being English dovetailed into the solid cherry front and feature corner blocks and wood glide blocks for durability. The drawers feature a dovetailed wood glide to assure easy opening and closing. Larger drawers will have a double wood glide system. All case pieces are interior framed dust proofed in between each drawer and on the bottom to add to the stability and cleanliness of each drawer. All back panels on the case pieces are inset to assure greater strength and stability. The drawers on the case pieces utilize the full dimension of the case box offering maximum storage.
